Legambiente rewards Apepak for innovation
An award for Apepak from Legambiente
Do you know what Festambiente is? Many of you certainly do, and for those unfamiliar with it, we remind you that it is the national holiday of Legambiente, a 5-day event at the gates of the Maremma National Park, in Rispescia: 5 days of music, cinema, exhibitions, debates and conferences, spaces for children, healthy eating, wellness and much more.
What is there to do and see at Festambiente?
Lots of things, all in harmony with the planet: concerts and debates, workshops for children, white nights full of music and cinema that are divided into an area of three hectares where it is possible to discover the prototype of an eco-sustainable and self-sufficient house from the point of view energetic, the Tuttogioco park for children, sports fields or phyto-purified lakes.
Festambiente is synonymous with healthy and organic food, thanks to quality products from organic farming, grown without resorting to the use of pesticides and in total respect for the environment. Here the ancient food and wine traditions are perfectly combined with the use of organic and seasonal foods to allow all visitors to take a journey through taste to discover the typical local dishes.
Apepak could not miss this appointment, which in 2019 was dedicated to the themes of climate change and plastic consumption, but we were particularly proud to have been among the 5 Italian companies chosen to receive the "Best Practices for Innovation" award that Legambiente dedicates to those who work for a cleaner, ecological and healthy future.
The prize was awarded to us on August 16, on the same day during which a visit to the apiary was organized to illustrate the role of bees as sentinels of the planet and fundamental cornerstones of ecological balance, a sign of how the culture that Apepak is trying to make known it is becoming more and more heritage of many.
The award was given to us for the characteristics of Apepak: an innovative product, easy to use, completely recyclable and able to save the planet kilometers of plastic, easily fitting into everyday habits.
